ABOUT ME
As a psychologist and expressive arts therapy practitioner, I aim to facilitate a brave and supportive space for individuals to engage in the process of therapy and develop sustainable shifts in patterns that lead to increased accessibility of emotions and self-awareness.
My practice involves a deep commitment to shadow work, addressing issues related to shame and guilt, attachment, and relational concerns. I usually work in the here and now, viewing therapy as a microcosm for the real world - this allows me to address interpersonal themes that come up in the presence of the therapeutic relationship.
The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the therapy process and I believe that by staying present and open to the moment, embracing discomfort, and trusting the process, therapy can help create meaningful and lasting change.
My ultimate hope for clients is that they become the authors and agents of their own lives.
“one does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious."
